dot 1944 on trader with wrong stock

Hey guys, What do you think about the dot on the trader with a faked stock and bands !

He is a good friend of mine. He asked me about it and I told him it looked good but admittedly I know little to nothing of late and/or dot rifles. Let him know what's right or wrong with it. He's a collector of American milsurps and knows little of German stuff. He's not trying to fool anyone and asked me about it first. My fault for bad info.

No problem Bud, but he's asking crazy money for what it is, so I thought I'd better say something.

No biggie but if there is a problem with the rifle let him in on the ground floor on it. He'll likely adjust to a more reasonable price if he learns something is wrong with it. Again, he was going by my misinformation.
