S28 stock washer marking

Here are the markings on the left stock washer of my S28. Do these these marks indicate this rifle was in the possession at some point of an infantry recruiting depot?

It's a unit marking for a cavalry regiment. 2nd Eskadron, Reiter Regiment 3, weapon 18.

Thanks for that information. I was using the markings section of Walter's bayonet book as my guide and that was clearly not where I should have been looking. Any idea where they were located?

Reiter Regiment 3 was apparently based in Göttingen.

I recently acquired my first Kar 98b all matching S 28... know where it has been for over 30 years - 3 collectors that I know... stock washer markings are similar
