Picked these up as a grouping yesterday. No scabbards and they chromed one out but came with a set of original grips. Now to find some scabbards!

ab 44 is unfortunally heavy grinded which is not good for a value of S84/98.
41fnj looks ok to me, the cvl 44 chromed with plastic grips could be a GI upgrade, it would be probably better remain its as is , because chrome is already lowering the value of origin condition, some GI had period photos of girlfriend or family inside of grips.
The letter could be k.

The 44cvl is indeed in the k letter block. The original grip scales would have been wood.
