BCD 4 Rifle - Accept or Decline?

Good evening, everyone,

I’ve been offered this BCD 4 rifle and while I am aware that it is certainly a last-ditch production rifle, I do wonder if it has been refinished or chemically stripped in any way? The rifle is within the 97*** serial range and reportedly has all-matching serials. With all of this considered, I’m wondering if I can get some insight on whether or not this gun has been stripped/refinished (especially the stock) and, subsequently, is it worth picking up?

Stock is refinished but metal looks original. Depending on price it may be worth picking up.

More pics would help but it looks promising. As stated previously the stock looks to have been cleaned up, but the patina on the action, albeit with limited info and pics, looks nice. Definitely worth more investigation.

This gun has been trading around Canada for awhile. I’ve been asked at least a dozen times regarding it, agree stock refinished.
 
This is completely personal. Based on the pictures, I know the seller and he was a total dirt bag. Tried to burn me on trade by getting greedy.

I don’t know about this matter but fact is, it’s refinished. I think it was priced “ok” a year or so ago, but after that I think someone valued it too high.
