1937 Czech, parts pig or postwar build?

Good evening gents. I bought this as a shooter expecting to learn more from part markings. The receiver is from a VZ24, the stock, hardware etc are German K98, I think the trigger housing is a Kar98b, and the barrel is unknown as I do not recognize the stamps. Also it has an FN matching bolt but it apprears to have been highly polished. The entire rifle looks to be coated in a lacquer as well. It did come with a nice L&F sling though. I am attaching as many photos as I can here, to show what I am seeing. From my past few weeks of reading, the VZ24 type rifles are definitely a can of worms to open. If you guys could enlighten me a little bit here I would appreciate it!

Thank you!

To me it appears that someone took a reblued Vz24 carcass, put a sanded 44 era Mauser Oberndorf stock and an early Oberndorf TG on it to make up something to look like a 98k out of a bunch of random parts. Without more photos, it looks like this is what you have. Someone went to the trouble to install a 98k front sight cut for a hood. Can you send photos of the rear sight?

That circle B stamp on the barrel looks like a marking seen on Brazilian Mausers. Possible the barrel is from that contract. Agree that it's a parts rifle made into K98k configuration.

Thanks gents, I did suspect that it had been reblued but was unsure. Thank you for the confirmation. Yugo was the first thing to come to mind with the barrel, but Brazilian makes more sense as I cannot deciper the little if any markings at all. Here are photos of the rear sight. Are there any other areas that I should photograph to shed light on this? I really appreciate the help, I am not a K98 collector and know very little about them so you guys are a great help.

Also,20210505_181436.jpg are these red "X's" of any significance? I noticed them in red grease pencil on the stock and handguard.

Well, they at least converted it to 98k configuration, so you'll at least get the feel of a real one. Are there any markings on the right side or the bottom of the sight base? If it has a decent bore it ought to shoot just fine if the sights are installed properly. Any markings on the bolt? How about more photos?

Here are some rear sight photos. Looks scrubbed, I started to laugh when I looked at the front sight. Notice how crooked it is. The bore is actually great on this. I was nailing 6 in gongs easily at 200 meters with some old yugo ball. The front sight has the number "4" stamped. But rear assy is blank. 20210505_184529.jpg20210505_184510.jpg20210505_184458.jpg20210505_184432.jpg

Bolt looks to be FN. 9226, all numbers match except the blank extractor. Unfortunately it has been polished to a high luster. 20210505_185403.jpg20210505_185415.jpg20210505_185429.jpg20210505_185517.jpg
