237 - 1939 barrel replacement??

Hello!

I have a 237 1939 rifle I have taken apart and I have a couple questions for the experts.

1) is this a replacement barrel? I don’t see the SN suffix under the numbers.

2) what is the SN suffix?? A cursive lowercase f?

Original barrel - if you look further down, you can actually see the f suffix on the barrel, its just a partial strike.

Thank you very much for the reply. Now that I look closely with my loop I can see what you mean. I didn’t even see that before.

Also thank you for letting me know it is an “F” I was having a tough time with figuring that out as well.
