One of the earliest documented Mauser Berlin rifles with the Zf41 base.
Notice the dual Waffenamt inspections. The base was supplied by BLM (E/214) but also inspected at Mauser Berlin (E/26)

Very cool Bruce. I wasn't even sure if MB did flat rollers until this rifle. Killer rifle.

i was wondering when we'd see some better pictures of this rifle !! Vincent had so nice stuff and this was a gem of a find.. The other zf41 you picked up needs to be seen in a better light also.

Very nice rifle Bruce and by the way I'll check my armorers box. I may have mauser borsigwalde armorers safety for this rifle if your interested.

That’s a great one B. As stated the acceptance patterns are neat. Also a flat base is neat on its own.

Bruce you lucky ****** where the heck do you find these things? Or, are you just so awesome that they magically appear in your lap?

You post some amazing stuff, thank you--us mere mortals would never be able to see such rare gems otherwise.

This rifle was purchased from Amoskeag auction early this year.
I actually flew up and went with Dave Roberts to the preview. There were quite a few collectible rifles from an estate.
I know that many of them ended up with members here.

Okay yea I remember that auction, I think. Wasn't most of the rifles from a well known collector? They had a lot of nice stuff. Glad they ended up here with our forum members.
