Erma/Feima Small Parts

Hi everyone,

This is a thread for the Erma/Feima fan club. It looks like Erma/Feima used (very) small parts from other manufacturers (especially at the time of the "27" to "ax" or Erma to Feima transition, around "f" block of 1940 according to p. 446 of Vol II b).
The thread tracks the small parts reported here by the members and proud owners of these fine rifles.

This is what we have now :

I will try to update the thread whenever necessary, everyone is welcome to contribute and report. And it will avoid highjacking the thread of anyone posting an Erma/Feima 😅

Cheers!

Thanks Peter. Although yours is a no block (early one for 1940), would you mind having a look at the stamps on the small parts listed above ?

For me. 3642 e it's like this. Buttplate e/37 3642 e; bandspring e/37 3642; ejector e/280; rear sight lock bar e/280 42; FSB e/280; cleaning rod nut e/280; bolt sleeve lock (non matching bolt 4543e) e/280; follower spring e/280; floorplate release button e/280.

I also have this '41 AX c block.

I also have this '41 AX c block.
Thanks a lot, I've updated the table. Could you please have look at the 3 unreported parts on your '41 ?
With the current data points, it looks like when Erma became Feima (or switched from 27 to ax), they used more subcontracted parts (at least, it is clear for the front sight base).

My contribution, not the best condition sadly

1894d ax41, buttplate is marked bpr41, front sight base (matching) eagle 37 on front. All Other parts are eagle “280” marked.
Thanks, I've updated the thread with your rifle. Have you checked the ejector ? You just need to pull the ejector box. If not, I would bet it has an e/4.

The top of bolt release is e/280. Would the e/4 be internal?
Here is a pic of the ejector by heavy_mech, you see the small eagle stamp on the tip:

Sans titre.jpg

He disassembled it, but you don't need to. If I'm not mistaken, just pulling the spring-loaded box (below) will allow you to see the stamp on the tip:

Sorry for such a late response, however I had it out this morning so I checked those parts. Bandspring is r marked (without e/18) as would be expected on a Gustloff rifle. Armorers spare perhaps?

Bolt sleeve lock is standard e/280

Follower spring is totally unmarked and very smooth with a bright, vivid blued finish.
