Fake SS SSR K98k

Warrior1354

ax - hole
You ever asked yourself boy do I need to lay of the weed before I list rifle. Apparently this guy did not when he listed this POS. I mean seriously when someone writes the descriptions with some of these rifles. I just shake my head. But seriously look at that quality of work! That would have been approved for military service.

And just look at that stock stamp the resemblance is so canning for Halloween too!

Thats really ugly. From another Auction from what I remember. Not even a welder could fix it.

How does he keep getting away with this?
He might be getting away since in the end you find someone stupid enough for everything. But once you are known for selling shite the serious collectors stay away from you, even if among a lot of turds there is a real gem. And this development over years mean less high auction results.

So this thing has sold once by commonwealth, posted to Gunboards by someone and is now once again on gunbroker by commonwealth? Maybe he sent it back after his inspection period?

Hi guys, longtime lurker, first time poster. I think this is the one that was offered to me by a user on GunBoards. The initial pics looked better, and I sent them to an expert over there while I was waiting for more, and he confirmed it was a fake, then I was sent all of the other pics and recognized it. No idea if it was returned or not, but a user over there hit me up on DM trying to sell it at least.

Over $5,000 now and I think it's being shilled by member JDogg24 just became a Gunbroker member on Halloween and ready to spend over $5,000 for a fake SS SSR sniper yeah right.

I'm truly grateful for the experts here and on GB. Without you guys, I could have been taken for a total ride on this one, when the guy DM'ed me with pics of it. The SS Depot Sniper is one that makes me salivate. Several guys recommended the Karabiner98k books and the wwiigermansniper.com site, and when I thought I felt a bit comfortable in buying my small collection's crown jewel originally, I now know MILES more. At this point I have resigned myself to looking for years more, just to find the right one. So yeah, thanks fellows.

Totally legit Jordan. My personal fav is when you create your shill accounts on the same day you list the item. Brilliant.
