Is this SSZZA4 K98 fake?

The numbers on the barrel are a font I've never seen before on an original sszza4 rifle. I'd like to see a close up of the eagle.

Any chance you could get that a little clearer? You’ll find the answer you want here. I agree with swjXE, it looks a little off. I’m a rookie though. The experts will know for sure.

IMO it’s probably legit, but probably not a matching rifle. I see possibles postwar markings on receiver. This severely affects the collectibility of it.

Picture sucks but the font on barrel looks correct, as does the e/SSZZA4 stamp. Would need a much better picture to say for sure.

The fonts, especially top of “8” which is usually smaller and “9” differ. But I don’t know who built the SSZZA4 rifles.
