Laminate trainer, Buscher Sportmodell

I bought this 4mm JGA last year and decided to snap some pictures today. It really needed some sunlight to see the neat laminate. My favorite part is the handguard, laminated 90* out from typical.

wow... a first for me. I have seen and handled dozens of these. First ever in laminate ! Congrats ... Seen solid beech but never laminated beech.

Me neither. I don’t remember ever seeing any laminated examples posted here. Great score!

Thanks guys, I took a bit of a gamble on it, with the seller’s pictures, and not being able to locate another example. The receiver is gold washed on this one too, though someone unfortunately cleaned a lot of it away at some point in its life.

Thanks guys, I was happy to find it. Not sure on the percentages Eric, I asked Bob when I was in Tulsa and he said he had at least one.
