MP35/I Magazine Pouch

Absolut

Senior Member
Had never paid much attention to a magazine pouch that came with a MP35/I I bought many years ago (complete with three magazines, as pictured). Recently discussing with a visitor I for whatever reason pulled the magazine pouch and he went totally crazy on trying to buy it from me - after making it clear there is no way I would separate it from its gun he then pointed out to me why he was so keen to have it. It has stamps on the backside that I, for lack of interest in pouches, actually never had noticed. Did someone else ever see pouches marked like that?

What is also interesting are the mag separators - they are L shaped sheet metal which is riveted to the leather three times each. The backside seems to have three possible positions for a belt (high, middle, low) and a latch on top.

les portes chargeur de MP 35/1 sont beaucoup plus rares que le pistolet mitrailleur et il est normal qu'il porte les marquages de la SS qui en a été dote car la grande majorité a été verse dans la SS
notamment la 7em SS PRINZ eugene

Translation:
The MP 35/1 magazine holders are much rarer than the submachine gun and it is normal for it to carry the markings of the SS that was equipped with them because the vast majority were poured into the SS

Especially the 7th SS PRINZ eugene
