Hi!

My name is Hector, and I'm from Puerto Rico. I've been a member of the CMP forums for 6-7 years, and I got a few nice guns from that forum.

I joined this forum to lear more about german guns. The only german guns that I own are a BYF 43 K98 and a 1917 Gew 98 Waffenfabrik Mauser Oberndorf.

I also have a few guns from the US, Russia, Britain, Japan and Italy (WW1 and/or WW2).

My milsurp wish list is getting a RSC 1918, Gew43, C96, P08, P38, Johnson rifle, Enfield No4 MK1, Berthier, Lebel, Winchester 1895 Russian contract and a SVT40. Also, although not milsurp, a Sjögren shotgun.

Thanks for letting me join.

Hi Hector!

It sounds like you're off to a good start with your '43 Mauser-Werke and Gew 98. Post some pictures if you can.

It also pays to ask questions here before purchasing other guns on your wish list. The guys here will usually be able to tell you if there is anything amiss before you buy, and sometimes they'll have a better piece at a fairer price. One thing's for sure, there is NO dirty dealing or camouflaged faults with the arms traded here.

Welcome!

Richie

Thanks! Here are a few pics.

Also have a few C&Rs shotguns that I use for dove hunting. Winchester 97, 12s, 50, Savage 775A, Ithaca 37s. Also a few non C&Rs like Remington 870s and Baikals.
