Hello, I am new to k98s and have recently acquired one. This was from a decent-sized collection of WW2 era weapons this was part of an estate sale. I've taken it apart (mostly) and everything I've seen has been all matching. My concern is the look of the barrel band and the upper sling slot. I wanted to see if this weapon was authentic and if everything checks out. I would greatly appreciate your input!

Front band is from an Argentine Mauser. Rear and front band are renumbered and the bolt is humped too. The stock looks to be correct for a 41 JP Sauer. It’s not a Mauser Oberndorf stock.

You’re correct. When I looked at it quickly this AM I thought the H was faked over a WaA 135.
