Portuguese M937-A

Picked this one up recently at the Tulsa show from a fellow member. Wasn’t on my list of things to look for but glad I found it. Has minor pitting under the stock and from what I understand the Portuguese didn’t store these very well. Also came with a port. non matching bayonet. Now I guess I need to find a M937 and M937-B

Very nice rifle, what is little strange the bayonet adapter is bented down from barell? Is the adapter serialed or proofed

Thanks maybe the rifle falled with attached bayonet on the blade area and the lug was bented down a little.

Any others early Ports this way to report?
Standard Lug may have been purposely bent to allow bayo/sheath to clear unique front sight guard.
Otherwise it must have seen a lot of practice on the ole haybale. :))

owning a 41 Port is the closest you'll ever get to seeing a fresh as built 41 dated k98k// they are truely a work of art. The quality second to none..

Got the chance to handle a really nice Portuguese 937b rifle a few years back and was taken away with how gorgeous it was. What's a fair price for a Portuguese m/937b these days? I don't seem to have any luck chasing S/42 K98ks as of late.
