Le 152ème groupe d'artillerie de remplacement a été formé le 26 août 1939 à Giessen dans le Wehrkreis IX, comme groupe d'artillerie légère de remplacement. Ce groupe a été subordonné à la 159ème Division après sa formation. Le 16 septembre, le groupe a été transféré à Wetzlar, aussi dans le Wehrkreis IX. Début mai 1941, le groupe a mis du petrsonnel à disposition du 669ème groupe d'artillerie pour sa formation. Le 17 mai 1941, le groupe a été transféré à nouveau à Giessen. Le 15 septembre 1942, le groupe a été dissous. Le reste a été enrôlé dans le 9ème groupe d'artillerie de remplacement. Le groupe de remplacement a servi également en remplacement pour les unités suivantes : Régient d'artillerie 129 -152 - III/299 - I/402
