Pw.B Police Rework Bayonet 1920

I have had this a while thought I would post this kinda rare bayonet . Its Marked Pw.B on Scabbard indicating Polizeiwehr Bayern The marking in english is Bavaria Border Police . Blade is dated 1917 and maker marked,Can see in photo. Cross guard on bayonet is marked 1920 indicating weimar rework Scabbard was reblued at one time. Blade might have been polished at one time. The only marked piece is scabbard as this is too bavarian proofed, the bayonet S98/05nA was made by Demag in 1917, has not link to Bavaria or PwB. Anyway on the reverse crossguard could be there was a police unit removed? hard to say, certainly a government unit as 1920 stamped.
Bavarian Border Police is probably not a correct term.
It was more real army structured unit to prevent some communist revolutions in early era 1919/20, that served as reservoir for police units.
on german site is about it:
"Vorläufer der Landespolizei war die im November 1919 als Truppenersatz angelegte "Staatliche Polizeiwehr Bayerns". Sie war ihrerseits aus lokalen militärischen Wehreinheiten unter dem Befehl der Stadtkommandanten in München und Nürnberg hervorgegangen. Auf Druck der alliierten Siegermächte wurde die Polizeiwehr im September 1920 in eine rund 9.600 Mann starke "Staatliche Ordnungspolizei" umgewandelt, die ab 22. November 1920 den Namen "Bayerische Landespolizei" trug."
