This might not be in the right place, but lots of traffic. Any recommendations for a good screwdriver set for our Mausers? Some slots are thin, and occasoinally need to take something down. Any recommendations would be great! Thanks.

Honestly I've been really happy with the black box Wheeler set on Amazon. I've had more expensive sets and these do just fine in my book.

I like the Wiha tools made here and in Germany. There metric so work nice on very small screws. Just bought a couple of bits, hope their in the mail. Remember GOOD tools aren't cheap or made in China.

You can use garage sale screwdrivers IF you hollow grind them to fit the screw. I have Brownells (not the exchangeable bit but steel shafts that were hollow ground). I have others.

.. I have the wheeler black box set. Works great,,, just be careful with those two really little pins in the stock recoil lug bit,,,.... t

This.

See if you can find it anywhere other than Amazon. Brownells, I really like them.

Best get a set that is hollow ground. Hollow ground screw drivers will allow the entire screwdriver head to seat in the screw thus not all the pressure is at the top of the screw slot.

wiha are excellent tools, but not sure they have a hollow ground set. With wiha you get what you pay for.
