    Waffenampt AM3

Here are some additional pictures. It's interesting that the depot is Amberg as that's the arsenal it was made at. It's double dated and all matching except for the front band which is unnumbered (repaired duffel bag cut). The EWB I believe represents Einwhomer--Vehr-Bayern (Bavarian Citizens...

Thanks for the information. I'll take and post some additional pictures. What time period would that depot mark have been used in?

    Waffenampt AM3

I have a 1917 Gew 98 that was a 1920 reissue and then later a Weimar rework. On the toe of the stock is a later Nazi eagle with an AM3 Waffenampt. I have not been able to find who that is. I am including a couple of images. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    Kriegsmarine Stock

I recently acquired a Kriegsmarine stock. I know that some folks on this forum collect information on them. I am attaching some pictures. I understand that the N designated Nordsee but was wondering exactly what area that was. Also, I didn't know if anyone could tell anything from the...

    Bcd 4 lsr

More pictures Thanks for everyone's help. I am posting more pictures. As mentioned, the scope is post war so I know it's not correct. The buttplate looks old. There are no markings on it. There are no markings on the safety. The floorplate is qnw. Bands are unmarked. Rear sight base is...

    Bcd 4 lsr

I recently acquired an LSR "sniper". I worded it that way because I know some of the parts are reproductions or not correct (i.e. the scope is a post war Hensoldt). The good news is the rifle is one of the BCD 4s with the heavy wall receiver (see picture) so I'm sure that's correct. However...

Couple of questions on a stock & barrel

I'm hoping someone on the forum might be able to help me with a couple of questions. 1. The stock on my 98k has a Br code on the butt. I can't seem to find who that manufacturer is 2. I picked up what appears to be a standard 98k barrel but I don't recognize the barrel proofs (see below) The...

    Hensoldt Dialytan

Can anyone tell me when a Hensoldt 4X Dialytan serial number 8012 might have been made? It is marked on the left side Hensoldt Wetzlar over Dialytan 4X 8012. No markings on the right side. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Chinese Standard Modell 1933 carbine

I have an unusual Mauser that I'm hoping someone can give me an idea as to its worth. It appears to be a later model Chinese Standard Model 1933 carbine. I say later because the front sling bar is the 98k style on the side rather than located on the bottom as were early Chinese Model 1933s...
