See pics. Is there something wrong with this? I cannot seem to find where an 1898 spanish mauser exist. Only 1893. SN#6858

What you have is a Spanish Model 1893 produced in 1898. The date is the year of production.

bent bolt and all? I own it but don't have the gun in my hands at the moment. Hoping to make it into 300 WinMag if possible. Don't mind spending money on it. Any help with the serial number? I've looked and no joy.
