Book was in the property of the Gendarmerie-Ausbildungs-Abteilung Adlerhorst. Alderhorst (or Orlowo in Polish) was a southern district if the larger city of Gotenhafen (Gdynia) just north of Danzig.

Very cool!

Edit: The battalion was formed on 03.01.1944 (commanded by Oberstl. Werner Kühn) and on 15.01.1945 was apparently rolled into a Gendarmerie Ersatz Bataillon. I think. Google doesn't translate Polish very well. :)
