Now, it's favorite item in my collection, 44 fnj with matching numbers and a full marked CAN scabbard. Bayonet is in very good condition!

There is problem to find some with clear can stamp, as many were weak stamped and in complete finish overstamped with 44fnj on same place.
 
Mine is 8753 f with wood grips. A much more difficult variant to find with the August Wallmeyer scabbard than the better known Horster w/rivet grips.
 
BTW, found a post from 2020 to expand on this thread:


Interesting that those bayonets in the "f" bloc seem to be sporting wood grips and have a dull, somewhat matte finish, yet in the "g" block we see a return to phenolic grips and a darker, blued finish...
