Ab tan 44 can

To my knowledge, will agree with CanadianAR for factory-applied, tan painted behalter. Some Rg34 tins are seen with WW2 period, field-applied (typically via brush) tan over-paint. This was not uncommon on German equipment used in N. Africa. However, more often than not, it is the result of tins being embellished by "shady characters" or for use by reenactors. IMHO the pictured, "mixed-bag" component kit is a perfect example of the latter...
