What I see is a typical RC, and even the stock was cleaned up from russian shelac so it's not either original German, or as refinished RC. Am I missing something? Is this a rare code?
I mean, if it sells at that price, I guess that's what it was worth to someone. But the internet is full of over priced rifles if you're just going by list price.
rc aside it is not rare or remotely uncommon (actually this maker-date is very common in lesser grades), - now if it were a 1936 then rarity could be a factor
