A while back I picked up a couple Patronentasche and had a couple questions. One is a late war design (closed belt loops, rivets, rectangle "D" ring) and has RBNr 0/0396/0027. The list on K98 Vol2b pg. 883 does not have that number listed, and a website I found said an unknown company in Sachsen. Is that as close to an answer as there is as to who manufactured it?
2nd, I have a pouch that seems like a mid war design (closed belt loops, rivets only at the bottom of the pouch, rectangle "D" ring), but appears to have no stamp of any kind. In this case, is the manufacturer lost to history?
