Here's my bnz45 project. Band is original to the rifle along with the magazine/action assembly. The stock is reworked from a scrapped bnz45 stock by a friend, and the screws and front plate as well. All I need is a front band, and obviously the very much desired and difficult to find bolt.

I like it, I think it's going to look killer when done. Any proofs on the stock?

None on the outside that I see, most likely sanded long ago. The inside has a small dimple in the channel that could have been a stamp, but again the sanding makes it impossible to tell.

This is off of my “matching” dot 44, it’s unmarked which I think is wrong considering it’s an ab suffix rifle that should have the numbered band. The rear one is numbered. Don’t know if it works for you but I’ll need to get a proper band for this one anyways.

Yes I would love to have this band. With the large countersink hole and bluing it would not go on a bnz45, but I need this exact band for a dou45 restoration I'm doing! PM sent.

Still on the hunt for a phosphate front band and a bnz45 bolt, long shots but no other way to go about it.

Hey man where'd you pick up the stock? On the hunt for a BNZ stock...

Rebuilt from a sanded/cut stock by a page member, not sure if he s really doing k98 stuff right now. You can find rebuilt stocks on the forum trader occasionally, but it took me 2 years to find one so you'll just need extreme patience.

Thanks for the help swjXE, one of several who have made this possible.

Bump, last thing is a bnz45 bolt, look forward to getting a reply in a few decades!

Nice progress Aaron. Cool project. Personally I think it's satisfying to do these rifles "justice" and get them back as they're supposed to be, or as closest possible. You also learn a lot about them on the way.

Thanks to moconfed and the s block bolt, this rifle is now finished. If any of you s block rifle owners want to swap bolts if you have a t block let me know!
