Cool turd.... dot x Sauer

Bob, Yes this is rarely seen, but those seen are grouped fairly tight, dou also has an example, but an earlier lot.

1945 dou 2005 a / avk Bg e/13 (dou finaled receiver- sportered rifle)

In 1943 JPS increasingly supplied others, though Brno was probably the most self-reliant of all the makers, though probably resembled WMO use of others late in the war... WMO relied upon FN and Ruhrstahl very late in the war, L-block & 45.

I'd buy that as a shooter if only because the bluing looks authentic german and the bore is nice, but wouldnt pay anything more than $900 tops.

Shame that the humper scrubbed the original s/n from the dot receiver, because even an honest parts gun is worth more than a humped fake.

No s/n was scrubbed from the receiver - dot's this late have the s/n only on the barrel. And the barrel/receiver combo looks like they came from the factory together. The bolt is a shame but the barrel/receiver combo is neat.

There is not anything scrubbed from that receiver brother. The serial is only on the barrel on these five digit guns.

Looks like some glue/putty around the recoil lug. Maybe something else. Just adds to the humping.

Yeah I saw that too. Someone 'fixed' the recoil setback. Agree with the others regarding the sad bolt abortion.

Nice trends work there. Obviously this subject rifle fits in perfectly.

I agree, though I still wonder why the need arose... possibly just consuming JPS remaining barrels after they ended 98k production, the depots had been combed for men and shutdown in the east, perhaps these were just being sent to mfg's still engaged.

So being new here, I'm not seeing what you guys are concerning the bolt. Could someone enlighten me on what I'm missing?

For one, the bolt has a suffix, the rifle does not, major issue. The font is also fake, the safety milling is incorrect etc.

Yes, Fly is of course correct.
Simply compare the number style on the barrel with the style (font) on the bolt.
Also go to the picture reference index and study a few originals.

Need a dot44 KM range for a stock, and we got guys like this still trashing good rifles, love it.
