G.24(t) handguard question

Were inspections stamps present on G.24(t) handguards during late '42 production? I saw a beautiful '41 on the reference page that had a stamp, but didnt know if this was accepted as a standard throughout production. '42 dou. K98s aren't expected to have them, if I recall correctly.

I would expect to see a small WaA80 on the top of the hand guard on late 42 rifles as well, my “i” block has it and the j block in the photo reference has it as well.

My 1942 duo k block has the inspection mark on the handguard.

My correct walnut H block has WaA80 on the hand guard, same place as the above picture. Regards
