g98/40 post war greek used?

A worn bolt & floorplate m/m. Only added mark is the vvv brand. Read some old threads elsewhere that this is maybe greek civil war marked? JL

I have seen it before and read some of the discussion but do not believe that anyone has figured out who did this or why.
