Gun show Ajack's

Hey Gang, I've had a gentleman at a local show keep coming up to my table wanting a older Remington BDL for the last couple of shows but he never had the money. So last time he told me he had a Ajack he wanted to get rid of so we struck up a trade and some cash and here it is. Pictures aren't the best they were taken with my phone in my basement. Rear bell has a dent on the edge but the lens aren't scratched up. Hopefully the dent can be repaired. It's definitely been thru some action. Not sure what year it is or what it came off of. Any info would be great!

Nice looking Ajack 4X90 It was from either Low or High Turret and Year of production 43 or 44 . Best Regards

nice....

Glad to see you grabbed it..I think you did ok getting it for what you did.. Wartime military ajack scopes are not easy to find at all !! It's odd there is no signs of the rings being removed ??

The Sunshade has been altered should not have Four slits in end of Sunshade only be Two and I bluing may not be Original . Looks to me like it could be reblued . Best Regards

Ajack

Dave My dad and I have'd looked this thing over and all 4 slits are perfectly spaced and all the same size. I really think this one was made with 4 for some reason. The bluing just looks really really like it is covered in a patina. Edges are in the white where the bluing has wore thin. I always find the oddballs lol

I do not have it in hand but I have Never seen another with Four Slits and I have seen Many Many Ajack 4X90 Scopes . The Slits at 9:00 and 3:00 in the Pic look OK , the other two look to have a bit of an Angle cut to them . Just what I am seeing . But like I have always said Never Say Never . Either Way looks like a Nice Ajack . Best Regards
