Hi guys. I want to show you my K43 QVE 45 that I have in my collection. He is after a German LW veteran from WWII, unfortunately he is no longer alive, so no more detailed information can be found. There are significant signs of use on it, so towards the end of the war it still fought a lot on the Eastern Front. The condition is very good and the numbers match, no modern marks. The rifle was amnestied and is registered according to applicable laws.

The shape of this release is lever is typical of reproductions. Also the pin that this lever pivots on is normally staked in place. The shape of the heads on the band screws is also not typical.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with others concerns about the mount. It is a reproduction.

There are a number of obvious issues, such as the SN, machining style on the dovetail, sold pin that holds lever to name a few.

The mounting bracket is a find from the basement of an old house. Optics, metal strips and screws and a lever were added. The center bolt was heavily corroded, welded and repaired. Where the material was missing, completed, improved. The original lever was also completely destroyed by corrosion, replaced by another one. That's why it might seem like it's not original. The holder is made of cast steel, so it lasted.

That's a earlier Qve A block laminated hand guard , You usally see them with the Durofol hand guards later.
