Kar 88 value/approximation?

Morning to you gents,

A friend of mine is in possession of a Kar 88 rifle with what looks like matching numbers. Since I'm more of a 98 guy and have very little idea on the market value of these pre-WWI era guns I have no idea on the market value of these things and I'll need some of the more seasoned collectors here to have a look at it. Looks to be in original configuration from what I can tell, but I asked him to shoot me some pictures so I can share them here for you guys. How does it look? Is this a nice example of a Kar 88?

It's been sanded it appears in the last photo, but the metal appears to be untouched. Plus it appears to be matching and not altered. it's a Schilling manufacture which I don't see many of usually Erfurts are more common. I'd say it's a pretty good pickup for a first Kar 88

Definitely looks sanded, which is a shame given how untouched the metal is. With the sanded stock 6-700ish imo. These were often hit my bubba given their small and handy profile. Thankfully they left the sight ears alone.

Thanks man. Would you agree that 600-700 is a fair market value for it? My friend says he wants it gone and I would like to get a good idea how much its worth.
