I really have no clue when it comes to this stuff, any help on authenticity, etc. would be appreciated. They came out of a small local gun shop, he acquired them as part of an estate. The price was low so I took a chance on them. click pics to enlarge

My opinion is that Luft is a correct and original ex-whitewash. Finding one with all or even most of the whitewash still on it is very tough because : 1) the whitewash was a powdered mixture designed to be brushed off, so it was delicate; and 2) few were taken in conditions of active snow. Keep that set together. Good find, particularly if it was cheap.

Luftwaffe unit markings. Don't have time to look them up, but it looks like a signals/communications, maybe searchlight unit.

great items.. the helmet is an M35d.d. luft. from 38/39 period. Chin strap if complete will be marked on the tip. Also look for LBA stamped on it somewhere. Very common on earlier luft chinstraps.
Belt buckle is self explanatory. 1935 so its nice and early and has good detail still as these aul. buckles can wear down quite a bit... I'd say you did well !!

great find!

Well done! Echo the white wash comments, tough to get! Helmet looks great as well, I wonder if there is a dome stamp tucked up under the liner in the dome of the inside? That be a great addition. Very nice early belt, unit marked. Great find indeed! Why can't I find local finds like that anymore!?
