Hi Guys,

I'm an Australian Army officer writing a book Australian snipers and am searching for a good image of a common German sniper rifle in WWII. Australians encountered German snipers in Greece and especially in the Western Desert campaign. The only images I've seen on the Net are too low-res to use. Happy to acknowledge the owner of the image in a citation in the book.
Cheers,

Glenn

Glenn, you can come photograph my genuine HT sniper if you like. I am in QLD near Brisbane :biggrin1: Though mine is 1945 - saw the street warfare of Berlin, not the sands of Tobruk...
