I have some of these in my collecion. They have no label, just a small strip of paper with a WaA on it. Hardly to read. Anyone seen this before and what is the explanation of this label?

Johan I believe WaA C 11 is on the little label.
C 11 is the code of the Heeresabnahmestelle bei fva.
Mostly you cant read the stamp but I add a picture from the 1944 fva 3 wooden crate label. There you can see the Abnahmestempel WaA code C 11.
The factory has to send control ammunition "Kontollmunition" as Nr. 20 of the Technical Delivery Specification for the Pist. Patr. 43 (T.L. 13/8613)
After the expiry of the first week of production 20 cartridges daily on the last day of each week of production.
....
These cardboard cartons (Faltschachteln) are to be closed with a sealed label, and provided with destails of the shift( Schicht 1 ot 2),the day and moment of witdrawal. The stamped ammunition is to be marked accordingly.
I add a picture from a box out of the 1945 fva 13 production 1 Schicht 22/3 .(22 März 1945)
Perhaps your boxes are taken as Kontollmunition.
