Need 98K cleaning rod i.d. help.

I've had this one for many years.

I think it came in a big box of Mauser parts I got from an old gunsmith who turned a bunch of various nice old Mausers into "sporters" way back in the long ago.

Blued finish, no markings or numbers that I could find.

I sold most of my other Mauser parts off, but occasionally still come across something I forgot about and/or saved "just in case".

At this point, it's not something I'll ever need or use, so I'll put it up for sale and pass it on to someone who can use it.

So my questions are:

1, Is it genuine WW2 German, or something else?

2. What's it worth?

Guessing it's 12.5" long? Threads and thread tip look good. Threads go all the way to the rod's shoulder, good. Patch end cutout and "v" notch look good. No markings you say? May well be an original German 98k rod from 1942-45. Value $90-100.
