Greetings everyone. I've been an avid shoot and collector of firearms for a long time, but I recently had to move to California for work, so I have found myself now becoming interested in Mausers, as they are some of the few firearms I can still legally purchase in my new home state. I'm very interested in the history and details behind all the manufacturers and the evolution of the rifle from the Gew 98 to the various iterations of the 98k as the Second World War progressed. I'm hoping I'll be able to learn a lot from all of the experts here on the forum!
