Hi guys

Just picked up early WWII German 1st variation non-slotted, tangent sight, FN P35 Hi Power 9mm caliber pistol at our local weekend show. Circa Dec 40/Jan 41 mfg estimate, this has the early WaA613 waffen proofs, is 100% matching as far as I can tell, grips are red on the inside, has a mint bore, and very importantly has a phosphate WaA613 proofed magazine. Anyone have a 41 date HP original holster that needs a new home?

Great pick up! A local show, wow. I would have bought it in a second. A lot of these are faked, but looks good to me. Nice amount of wear on it. Right serial number range. Nice early finish.
 
Well done Luft1 ! Can you shoot a pic of the inside of the grips, the color? That you got a WaA613 mag with it is outstanding. Those are tough to find on their own. I'll pic sticky this.
 
Outstanding score! Years ago, I had a pistol of similar vintage, that someone had buffed unmercifully, and re-blued. About all it had in common with your beauty was it was matching, the same year range, and had a tangent sight. I bought it as an interesting shooter, but the sights were too hard to deal with. Sold it because it was just so bubba'ed.

Now, I can't even by the magazine, due to the CT AWB.
 
Airborne Pistols

That is the nicest German P-35 I have ever seen! Both Canadian, and German airborne troops were issued with the same pistol.
