opinions requested on a non-rc k98

local seller has this one for sale:

41 ce. barrel/receiver/rear site all match. magazine floor plate does not.
bolt matches itself. stock sporterized. "vet bring back". no import marks.

comes with r/c stock, handguard and barrel band. i'm not sure if the sling pictured does or not.

seller is asking 440.

thoughts?

If it comes with an RC stock that you can swap out, even as a bolt mismatch, I would probably grab it for $440, since RC's are approaching $400 anymore. You can clean up that RC stock if you wanted to, and you'd have a pretty decent looking 98k for the collection.

ETA I'd check the sporterized stock, if original to the gun, I'd save it....
