Opinions sought on bayonet mount mark

Any ideas on this mark found on a bayo mount (seitengewehrhalter) for a Gustloff? Could it be a script S, maybe Sauer? Thanks, a.

Not from any Sauer I have seen - maybe Turkish or Persian? I have seen Turkish parts on wartime German guns before.

Actually, I have seen somewhere this mark attributed to Sauer Commercial firearms. Cannot even remember where now!
