Hardest of the non-slotted to find. I think they made only about 7,000 of this variant. Initial 1940 production from leftover FN parts. Also has early WaA613 phosphate body mag. Holster is nka 43 with spare phosphate body Belgian pre/early war mag.

Wonderful pistol. Very uncommon. Charlie Wagner is the man on these IMO. Hey with production number 1, 2, prototypes and many of the German production guns in the 48000-60000 range, he will know. cpw on many forums. His collection will boggle the mind. No better source, including the books, IMO.

Craig, you have acquired some really outstanding HP's this last year or so. This one is the cream of the crop.
Here is my WaA613, #59026 with a clg44 holster for comparison. I thought mine was pretty nice until comparing it with yours! Nice goin'...

Those are both beautiful Hi Powers. Thanks to both of you for sharing the photos, very enjoyable.

Beautiful Denny, and at worst it is easily as nice, and probably a % or three nicer than mine :happy0180: I was looking for a nice WaA140 tangent and in the last year ended up with this WaA613 and WaA103, but still need a WaA140. Want to get the no letter 1942 range, and an "a" block, in addition to a Belgian slotted.

That's a formidable "want" list Craig. Good luck with finding them. I sold a pretty nice "a" block with 2 mags and holster at the SoS.
I'll keep you in mind if I run across anything.

Nice a block, wish I had known you were selling it. Denny, maybe I've been lucky, but I see a blocks and b block P.35s constantly available on GB, same with WaA140 tangents. I've just been waiting on the right one at the right price. The slotted Belgian is tougher, but they turn up. I went ahead and got the WaA103 and WaA613 when they were available as those seem a little tougher.

Shameless bragging on my part! Here's my no letter 1942 range.

Wow all posted are in exceptional condition. One of my favorite pistols. Mine are all fixed site. A shooter no block and an a and b block both showing combat wear. Very nice indeed. Would love to own any of them.:hail:

Forgot to mention - your nka 43 holster is the first one I've seen..... very cool!

Thanks, it's about unissued shape. With the pistol I got it, another mint dla 44 holster, and three spare mags: a WaA140, an unmarked, and a Belgian pre-war that probably came with the pistol. The mag in it is a WaA613.

Tks Peter. If I could have only one type pistol to shoot, use for self defense, collect, it would be the GP.35. Right after that, the M1911 series.
