Here's some photos of a Paatz Sporter . Receiver reads BERNH PAATZ WAFFENFABRIK ZELLA-MELHIS/THUR. Has Eagle N proofs. OK I know it's not really a trainer, but it's the only one of these I've seen.Thanks

Nice looking rifle have you shot it yet, if so how did it do? Do you collect training rifles, if so what type do you collect? The Paatz DSM-34 is a rare bird indeed.
 
Yes the Paatz trainer is similar to unobtainum, and would also love to have one. As for shooting it's about the same as any of the peroid sporters or trainers. I have a small collection of about 20 pcs. Both DSM 34 and KKW and sporters including one mystery rifle a Hommel similar to a Mauser es 340. I have posted some on here before, including the Fake Mauser Flobert.

I would also suggest exploring the Model W 625 series rifles. I haven't found one that doesn't shoot well.
