That Paul Weyersberg & Co|Solingen #14496 is way up there, yet still bearing the "R.P." May be the highest serial number I am aware of to still have that marking, which I think was ultimately dropped.

The highest marked RP is in my dbase 17714.
Sorry to say i made here a error as there was discussion about Tr. marked pieces of P.Weyersberg, so i mixed the both series and PWCosol is right here, there are not reported RP markings above 14xxx range. So estimated 15000 could be the range of pieces, where the R.P. was stamped on blade.
