Project byf44

Greetings, I've had this byf44 for 10 years give or take and finally have reached the point when I'm tired of looking at it and want to re-stock this rifle. Is there any one here with an appropriate stock for this byf44. It's a same that the stock was sanded down so heavily....

My apologies the light was very poor since I took the pictures in my den at night and the safety is not pitted just looks banged up in the picture.

This appears to be a matching rifle, it's a shame they sanded the stock, but I'd just reverse the recoil lug, locate an unmarked band spring ( if missing) and leave it as is. If it bothers you so much that you can't look at it, sell it and find another MO with an unsanded stock.

BTW, which part of the "Empire state" do you reside in?

What do you guys feel an honest price is for the rifle as it stands now. I have not bought a k98 in years "due to now owning a house and all that entails". My gut tells me $500/550. I'm I off? Thanks for your time.
