Picked this up a while back, pzjgr spotted it at a shop in east Texas, and dropped the tip knowing my Sauer obsession. Many of these show up just shy of mint, but this one is obviously a carried pistol and came in this holster. Maybe a private purchase item but no way to know. Not much else to say except it sure is one slick little pistol, very finely machined and fitted!

Definitely a cool little gun, looks like a ray gun from Buck Rodgers....:thumbsup:
 
That is very nice. My book states also made with alloy frame which is very rare. Guessing yours was made in the 1930s?
 
Interesting! Didn’t know that, but I don’t have any reference material on them, when were those made? This one is 30’s at the latest with the crown N proof, haven’t even researched the serial for its production date to be honest and thanks guys!
