This was a local pickup courtesy of a long time friend. This was an in-person dropoff at the auction.
I am still trying to find out any specifics of the vet and any unit association.
Textbook rifle without the 'K'.

Very nice rifle. My 42 BNZ carries the SSZZA4 mark (right side of the receiver just below the furniture) but no rune or totenkopf like yours. Neat. It looks brand new.

Mine looks new but the stock has more patina. Mine is identical to this one including tguard - it’s in Volume 2b.

Wow ! It is gorgeous. Everything is crisp, especially the electro-pencilled markings.

Honestly that's what I was seeing. I'd love to see the bolt face as this appeared to me like it was never used.
