During the war, as the Germans captured large quantities of ZB26, ZB30 and ZB30j (aka Yugo M37) Machine Guns, they pressed them into service, particularly with the Waffen-SS, under the designations MG26(t) and MG30(t). The ZB26 is also the predecessor to the Bren.
