I saw a guy put up story on US examination of the 1898 Rifle so here from the US 1893 Rifle trials the end report on status of Mauser rifle they tested by US Navy . Can you add this to those talks, I have some 200 docs on Us rifle trials 1893 and huge file on US/ Mauser battle for Mauser Patent rights that went from 1902-1908. Mauser won 200,000 Dollars!
