Walther PPK - 7 digit serial number

This morning I got a Walther PPK 7 digit serial number at auction. Only one other guy knew what the gun is and he was on a budget. 98%, one matching magazine, 1942 dated holster.
For those not familiar, the serial number is 7 digits or a million number (1,004,xxx). See Rankin Walther PP and PPK page 66. Crown N proofs, Eagle C police. Approximately 7,000 manufactured. Manufactured late 1938 to early 1939.

Here are some pictures. Nicely marked holster came along with the gun. Holster marked L. Z. A with a winged logo. Underneath marked J. Erfurt. Dated 1942.
Having trouble getting the slide off of the frame. P 38's are so much easier!

The numbered mag makes it SS, correct?

The numbered mag may just be a Police thing. A lot of these were issued to Police in the Eastern territories.
I will ask the question over on the P38 forum.

The numbering on the mag is Police issue, not SS. E/C also police.
