Hi,
Picked up a Walther Sportmodell SN 65557 at a local pawn shop. It has the left side of the butt stock marked "Mar. St. 15/110." and has been duffle cut.The stocks a little rough but the metal is in decent condition.
With the little research I did, does the stock marking indicate it was used by Marine Sturm 15/110 or would it be Marine Standarte 15...or something completely different?
Also, having little chance of finding duffle cut parts, what Mauser style barrel band and end cup could be used in place of the originals?...was thinking of making the wood pieces.
